Our work is fueled by the talents and efforts of patients, families, and friends who share a desire to create a better future for the chordoma community. We believe that everyone has something to contribute to our shared mission and we invite you to play a role. Below are a number of ways you can volunteer to make an impact in the lives of those affected by chordoma.
Become a Champion
Whether you want to celebrate a special occasion, honor someone living with chordoma, or remember a loved one, our online fundraising platform makes it easy for you to let the world know why you’re passionate about finding a cure for chordoma.
A Champion page is a customizable personal fundraising page that is a simple way to rally your friends and family to join you in your goal to improve the lives of everyone affected by chordoma and accelerate the search for a cure.
Host a fundraiser
Turn your talents and interests into a unique fundraising event. With a little organization from caring and determined people, everything from pub crawls to marathons can become effective fundraisers that help support our mission. Even if you have no experience, hosting an event is effective, empowering, and fun.
And our staff is here to support and mentor you along the way. We’ll provide you with the resources you need to plan a successful event to raise money and awareness for chordoma research and care.
Become a Peer Guide
Has your life been touched by chordoma? Do you understand the questions and fears someone might experience because of your own experiences with chordoma? Do you remember benefiting from talking with someone who had already been through the chordoma journey, and want to pay it forward?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you may be uniquely qualified to give back to the chordoma community by becoming a Peer Guide. You will be trained using an evidence-based approach that will provide you with active listening tools and skills for providing support. Learn more about the Peer Guide experience.
