Chordoma Foundation

Accelerators Circle

Each gift to the Chordoma Foundation brings closer the day when everyone affected by chordoma will be able to overcome their disease and maintain their quality of life.

In the time since the Foundation started, thousands of individuals, families, and organizations around the world have fueled progress that is without precedent for a rare cancer, and transformed this once neglected disease into an eminently solvable problem. As a result, no longer are better treatments and better outcomes decades away; with adequate resources, they are now possible within the lifetime of those facing chordoma today.

Motivated by the urgency created by this opportunity, we established the Accelerators Circle to invite our community’s most generous supporters to come together to speed the pace of progress.

Started in 2017, the Accelerators Circle recognizes those whose commitments of $25,000 or more over a period of up to three years make an outsized impact on our mission to improve lives and accelerate cures.

We are deeply grateful to all who have already accepted this invitation and we look forward to working with those who join next to further shorten the time to achieve our shared vision.

Megan and Joe Stewart, chordoma patient and his wife“The Chordoma Foundation was a voice in the wilderness for our family after my husband Joe was diagnosed. We benefited so much from their information and encouragement – especially their help finding experienced doctors, which made all the difference in Joe’s outcome and recovery. Getting that help at such a frightening time gave us hope, and hope and gratefulness are powerful motivators. That’s why we joined the Accelerator’s Circle. Because we know that a strong Chordoma Foundation means a stronger and healthier chordoma community. And that’s an investment worth making.”
