Life’s curveballs — whether rare like chordoma or universal like a global pandemic — have a way of revealing who we are and what we’re capable of. Given the collective challenges we all faced in 2020, this community’s continued commitment to one another and the Foundation was tremendously meaningful.
Our 2020 Annual Report tells how, despite historic challenges, our research collaborators and grantees went to great lengths to ensure that their work continued, enabling significant and tangible progress in multiple priority areas, from immunotherapy to discovering drugs against chordoma’s Achilles’ heel, brachyury.
It also puts the theme of resilience front and center, sharing how the launch of our Survivorship Initiative is helping those touched by chordoma find new ways to live well in the midst of ups, downs, and ongoing uncertainty about the future.
As you’ll learn in the report, your steadfast support meant that despite 2020’s headwinds, we emerged stronger as an organization, significantly ahead in our mission, and with even more to look forward to. Thank you for standing with us at this crucial moment in time; we truly appreciate it.
