July 14–15, 2016  |  Boston, Massachusetts

The International Chordoma Research Workshop (ICRW) brings together leading physicians and scientists from around the world motivated by a common mission to find better treatments for chordoma and ultimately improve the lives of chordoma patients. It offers participants a unique opportunity to learn about the latest advances in chordoma research, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues across multiple disciplines.

The last workshop in 2013 brought together 100 investigators from more than 40 institutions and companies in nine countries, laying the ground for a new wave of research progress. Today the field has grown significantly, the pace of discovery is greater than ever before, and promising new treatment approaches are beginning to enter clinical trials.

Building on the momentum of previous workshops, the fifth ICRW will cover topics ranging from target discovery to therapeutic development to clinical research. As in years past, it will feature plenary presentations, group discussions, and poster presentations. Additionally, on Friday evening (July 15th), attendees will have the opportunity to join with chordoma patients and family members for a reception and awards dinner celebrating members of the research and patient communities who have made an extraordinary contribution to the Foundation’s mission.
