Registration is now open for our 2018 International Chordoma Community Conference. Join us at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel beginning the afternoon of Friday, March 23, through Saturday, March 24 for this biennial event that brings together patients, caregivers, and loved ones from around the world to face the unique challenges of chordoma together.
Our International Chordoma Community Conferences (ICCC) educate patients and caregivers about the latest advances in chordoma treatment and research, and teach strategies for managing the effects of the disease. This year’s conference will focus on an array of topics including:
- immunotherapy and targeted drug therapy
- clinical trials
- emotional and peer support
- dealing with a recurrence
- survivorship planning
- pain management
- the Foundation’s role in driving chordoma research
- community fundraising
ICCC highlights include a reception and awards dinner with doctors and researchers who treat and study chordoma on Friday evening, and unique opportunities to learn from members of the Foundation’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Boards throughout the day on Saturday. We sincerely hope you can join us as we take on the medical, emotional, and practical challenges of chordoma, and work together to lead the search for a cure.
In addition to our International Chordoma Community Conferences, we also offer regional community conferences throughout the U.S. and Europe to bring the latest updates in chordoma research and care to patients and caregivers in their own communities. These one-day conferences are held in collaboration with medical centers that have multidisciplinary teams of experts who have experience caring for chordoma patients. Our next regional conference is at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center on Saturday, October 28.
