About the conference

Our International Chordoma Community Conferences (ICCC) educate patients and caregivers about the latest advances in chordoma treatment and research and teach strategies for managing the effects of the disease. Since 2008 we have hosted multi-day, biennial conferences, bringing together hundreds of people from around the world to face the unique challenges of chordoma together.

2018 program

Join us at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel beginning the afternoon of Friday, March 23 for our opening session, where patients and caregivers will have the opportunity to break into small groups and meet others whose experiences with chordoma are similar. The opening session will be followed by a reception and awards dinner with doctors and researchers who treat and study chordoma.

Saturday, March 24 will be a full day of programming at the Marriott. Participants will have unique opportunities to learn from members of the Foundation’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Boards and ask questions about the latest treatment options and research. This year’s conference will focus on an array of topics including:

  • immunotherapy and targeted drug therapy
  • clinical trials
  • emotional and peer support
  • dealing with a recurrence
  • survivorship planning
  • pain management
  • the Foundation’s role in driving chordoma research
  • community fundraising

Early-bird registration is available now until January 19. Please note the price of tickets will increase by $25 after January 19.

$150 Conference + dinner
Access to opening conference sessions, reception, and dinner on Friday, March 23 and all sessions on Saturday, March 24. Ticket price also includes continental breakfast, lunch, and beverage service throughout the day on Saturday.

$100 Conference only

$75 Dinner only

Step 2: Book your hotel

All sessions and programming will take place at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel. For your convenience, we have reserved a room block at the Marriott at a discounted rate of $234.48 per night (includes tax). This is approximately $20 less than the standard rate currently advertised.

Deadline to book: Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage you to book as soon as possible. You can cancel with the Marriott up to 48 hours before scheduled arrival.

Step 3: Stay tuned for schedule updates

Once you have registered for the conference, you will begin receiving emails as speakers and sessions are announced. Throughout the conference, you can expect to hear from Chordoma Foundation staff, our Medical and Scientific Advisory Board members, fellow patients and caregivers, and a variety of medical professionals from disciplines such as spine neurosurgery, skull base neurosurgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, palliative care, integrative medicine, and survivorship care.
