Since 2007, the Chordoma foundation has been working from the US to improve the lives of chordoma patients across the world by accelerating research to develop effective treatments for chordoma, and by helping patients to get the best care possible.
Now, the Foundation is expanding its efforts into Europe. By means of creating a multi language website and by incorporating a European legal entity (a tax exempt foundation under Dutch law) an infrastructure to vastly expand activities in Europe is being created.
On June 20th the first chordoma patients meeting in Europe will be held in the Sheraton Hotel at Schiphol Amsterdam airport. The meeting has a broad scope. The Chordoma Foundation will provide information about plans for its European activities, patients can express their problems and need and there will ample time to discussion about opportunities for patients and their relatives to join forces to enhance the patient community in Europe.
Participation in the meeting is free. More information about participating and the program can be found here; Registration can be completed online.
